Project Manager I

Compensation: $150K-$160K OTE

Location:   Silverdale, WA

Our client is a well-established company with over 50 years of industry experience, specializing in HVAC and security controls and systems. With a strong reputation for employee longevity and a comprehensive benefits package, they are seeking a Project Manager I to oversee projects within the Building Automation/Temperature Controls division.

This role involves managing projects from start to finish, coordinating planning, design, equipment procurement, and workforce allocation. Working alongside a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager, you will ensure that projects are executed efficiently, on time, and in alignment with customer specifications.

Project Manager Job Responsibilities


  • Oversee all aspects of HVAC controls projects from planning to completion.
  • Coordinate project design, procurement, scheduling, and workforce allocation.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective project execution while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Construction Managers or Senior Project Managers as needed.
  • Manage customer expectations, ensuring all specifications and deadlines are met.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging HVAC control technologies.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred (4 years).
  • Alternative qualifications:
    • Associate degree (2 years) + 2 years of temperature controls experience, OR
    • 5 years of commercial HVAC project management experience, OR
    • 6 years of temperature controls experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management, fire alarms, and smoke removal systems.
  • Understanding of engineering, installation, management, and construction procedures.
