Account Coordinator – Employee Benefits – $40,000

Location: Seattle, WA

We have an excellent opportunity available, for someone to join one of the largest independent insurance brokerage firms in the nation. The Account Coordinator will provide client support at the direction of the Account Managers and Producers.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Data entry and spreadsheet preparation, including employee assistance programs, COBRA services, Flexible Spending Accounts, etc.
  • Respond to client inquiries on billing, eligibility and benefit issues.
  • Review Summary Plan Descriptions and Contracts for accuracy and prepare correspondence documenting necessary changes.

 

Qualifications

  • 1 – 2 years of Independent Brokerages Experiences, or 4 – 5 years of experiences in Captive Agencies
  • Licensed
  • Ability to read and interpret carrier proposals, Agency policies and procedures, and safety rules.
  • Develop benefit comparisons for marketing presentations.
