Industrial Sales Base + Commissions + Benefits: $115-130K OTE

Our client a well-established distributor of quality industrial, mechanical, pump and electrical equipment, seeking an immediate need for an Outside Sales rep to sell both electrical and mechanical equipment, including pumps, mechanical seals, pump repairs, VFD’s, control panels and packaged systems throughout the State of WA.

You will be responsible for developing new accounts & growing existing accounts throughout the territory. Currently this territory consists of major customers including industrial, commercial and government accounts within the food processing, manufacturing, refining, chemical, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical and high tech industries.

Primary Responsibilities:

·Achieve bookings, revenue and GP targets for assigned accounts in territory.

·Confirm all applicable vendor regional goals are achieved and that all vendor resources are properly utilized including consistent joint call planning with vendor district representatives.

·Utilize Salesforce.com to ensure effective sales call planning and data capture to achieve individual and branch objectives. ·

Ensure that all requests for quotes are properly qualified to:

·Present key selling points, features and benefits, while remaining focused on the customer’s needs.

·Identify projects, timelines, business benefits, technical fit, key contacts and budgets.

·Implement the correct product and pricing strategies, resulting in closed orders with optimized costing and maximum gross profit.

·Provide quality technical support on all customer inquiries.

·Participate in product training programs.

·Ensure overall customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have:

·5 years experience in industrial pumps and fluid handling required.

·Knowledge of Electrical components, including motors, variable speed drives and associated electrical distribution.

·5-10 years minimum selling experience into industrial markets, specifically into one of the following verticals: industrial manufacturing, pulp and paper, food/seafood processing, and/or chemical processing.

·Knowledge of lines such as Sulzer, ITT Goulds and Flo-Serve is preferred, but not required.
